Winterfest at Mendon Ponds Park is a day when lots of winter activities are available for 'preview' at different locations in the park. Come and try orienteering! We will have instruction available and a short beginner course (under 2km) and a somewhat longer one (3 km or so) to try. The courses will be set to be suitable for skiing if the weather cooperates and for feet if not.  We will be locate at Hopkins Point Shelter and from noon to 2.  Please pre-register if you plan on attending; there will be day-of registration.  This event is FREE for everyone
