Black Creek Park - Woodside Lodge

Event Registration: 10:30 -11 am

Annual Meeting from 11 to 11:15 (To help us meet our quota for attendance, Donuts and cider will be served!)

Starts: 11:15 am to Noon

Courses Close: 1:30pm

Courses Available: 

Beginner - 2.9 km

Intermediate - 5.1 km

Advanced - 6.4 km

Grid-O will be available starting at 10:30am until 1:30. (Grid-O is a a type of orienteering activity that takes place in a confined, often open, field set up with a grid pattern of control points. Multiple courses will be avaible to practice your decision-making and looking ahead on a course. A fun activity for all levels!)

Course Setter's Notes:

We have not used Black Creek much over the years because most of the area is pretty over grown and green.  But at this time of year things begin to open up and it has some nice warm shelters for us to use for our meeting!  The courses may seem a little long but the park is very flat and most of the orienteering will be on trails (intermediate level).  

Instruction is available at all events, just ask at the registration table.  Feel free to bring friends and family.
