DIRECTIONS
Day 1: Letchworth State Park – Trailside Lodge
The south entrance to Letchworth Park is also apparently under construction and will likely be closed. So for those approaching from the south, the Castile entrance can be used and is just a bit to the north of the south entrance. It should only add about 5 minutes to your drive time. See this link for directions from the South Entrance to the Castile Entrance. The directions below are from I-390 in Dansville all the way to the Castile Entrance.
For those approaching from the north and east, the most direct route is the north entrance to the park and following the park road. Here is a link for directions from the I-390 exit to the north entrance of the park. It will take about 25 minutes from the I-90/I-390 interchange to get to the Mt. Morris exit on I-390. The park road is about 15 miles long and the speed limit is 20 mph! Give yourself enough time to get to the south end of the park. The total drive time from the Rochester International Airport, through the park to Trailside Lodge is on the order 1 hour and 15 minutes. As an alternate, the park can be bypassed and the Castile Entrance can be access via Mt. Morris – Nunda – Portageville – Castile Entrance.
For those approaching directly from west there are plenty of options via State Roads. From the southwest, use Route 19 and then 19A from I-86. From the northwest, Routes 19, then 19a can be used from I-90.

4 for RT-36 toward Dansville 0.2m
Turn left
at Clara Barton St/RT-36 0.2m
Turn left
at W Jefferson St 0.4m
Turn left at Ossian St/RT-36 Continue to follow Ossian St 0.4m
Continue on Nunda-Dansville Rd/RT-436, Continue to follow RT-436
To Portageville and Genesee River 19.6m
Cross Genesee
River and Head west (bearing northwest) on RT-19A/
Turn right and head east on Denton Corners Rd toward Letchworth State Park 2.1 mi
From the North:
Off Interstate 390 South
Take exit 7 for RT-408
toward Letchworth Park/
Turn left at Mt
Morris Geneseo Rd/
Continue to follow RT-408 1.9 mi
Turn right at Main
St/
Continue to follow RT-36 1.2 mi
Turn left at Park Rd 0.3 mi
Slight left to stay on Park Rd 0.1 mi
Follow Park Road/Signs to South end of park and Trailside Lodge 15 mi (@ 20mph!)
Notes: Entry fees of $6.00 will be collected at the main park entrances. Sprint Courses will start from the same area

location is about 1 hour and 10 minutes from the south end of Letchworth Park.
